2.2 Payment and account data

Payments and subscription management are handled by third‑party providers such as ExtensionPay and their payment processors (for example, Stripe). The extension itself does not collect or store your full payment information (such as credit card numbers or bank account details).

The extension may receive limited information from the payment provider, such as:

• Whether your license or subscription is active (free or paid).
• Basic identifiers needed to verify that your license is valid.

Full payment details remain with the payment provider and are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. How we use data

We use the data described above solely to:

• Enforce the free download limit and show how many free downloads remain.

4. What we do not collect

The extension does not:

• Collect or store your browsing history.
• Collect the full contents of websites you visit, other than the specific image you explicitly right‑click and choose to save as PNG.
• Upload or store the images you download. Image conversion happens locally in your browser, and the PNG file is downloaded directly to your device.

5. Data sharing

• Extension‑local data (such as download counts and plan flags) is not sold or shared with third parties.
• Third‑party payment providers may collect and process data necessary to handle payments and manage subscriptions. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which you should review separately.

6. Data retention

• Download counts and plan state are retained locally in your browser for as long as the extension is installed or until you clear extension data.
• If you uninstall the extension or clear your browser/extension storage, this local data may be deleted.

7. Security

The extension runs locally in your browser and uses standard browser APIs for storage and downloads. We do not operate a separate backend service for the core image conversion feature. While we take reasonable steps consistent with a small browser extension to protect data handled by the extension, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices

• You can uninstall the extension at any time using your browser’s extension management page.
• You can clear extension storage via your browser settings to reset your free‑download counter and local preferences.
• You can manage or cancel your paid plan using the “Upgrade” or “Manage billing” options inside the extension, which open the payment provider’s pages.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

9.1 No warranties

The extension is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

9.2 No guarantee of accuracy or availability

We do not warrant that the extension will always function without interruption, be error‑free, work on every website, or remain compatible with all future browser versions or third‑party changes. The behavior of third‑party sites and services (such as image hosts, CDNs, and browsers) may change at any time and can affect the extension’s functionality.

9.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the extension, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, the total aggregate liability of the developer for any claim related to the extension is limited to the amount you paid for the extension (if any) during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
